Aashi Bhati is a young professional holding a joint post-graduate degree in Journalism, Media and Globalisation from the University of Amsterdam & Aarhus University. She has a strong background in media and development studies. Currently, she works as a news writer at Core Middle East News Organization and a Course Facilitator for The United Nations System Staff college. Previously, she has been associated with government Think Tanks, NGOs, and global media houses such as NITI Aayog, Times of India, and UNHRC. She has worked closely on international human rights issues with the United Nations Human Rights Council, Geneva, in 2019 and participated in its General Assemblies over the past years.
