A conflict or an act of terrorism
The Zionist gangs expelled the Palestinian Arab families from their homes for the creation of the state of Israel.
JERUSALEM: It all started on May 14, 1948, when the Zionist gangs expelled the Palestinian Arab families from their homes for the creation of the state of Israel. Today, the Palestinians remember the 1948 exodus as “Nakba”.
In 1956, during the “Nakba”, the oppressed families reached an agreement with The Jordanian Ministry of Construction and Development and UN refugee agency UNRWA to provide housing for them in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (the time when the West Bank was under Jordanian Rule <1951-1967>)
Now in 2021, Israeli settlers came up into Sheikh Jarrah to throw Palestinian families out of their homes. As a result of this forced expulsion, Palestinian protestors came out to defend their homes.
During the past week, in collision with Palestinian protestors in Sheikh Jarrah, the Israeli police fired skunk water, a noxious liquid used to scatter demonstrations. The Israeli Supreme Court was scheduled to issue a ruling on the evictions on Thursday amid heated demonstrations and clashes between Palestinians and Israeli settlers but the decision was delayed until May 10.
On Friday, May 8, 2021, when the Muslim worshipers were praying in the Al Aqsa mosque. Israeli forces attacked with rubber bullets and hurled stun grenades towards Palestinian people amid growing anger over the potential eviction from a land that is illegally claimed by Jewish settlers. At least 205 Palestinians and 17 officers were injured in the night-time clashes at Islam’s third holiest site and across the East Jerusalem.
The whole world, particularly the Muslim nations, are deeply concerned and angered by the move of Israeli barbarian forces. The human rights organizations should intervene because if this cruelty does not stop soon, it will cause catastrophe.
